Denninger's
March | Little Cheese Masters
March 13th @3:00pm | Burlington Store | 777 Guelph Line
Bring the kids for a fun and interactive cheese class this March break! Designed just for young foodies, this 2-hour class will teach kids how to make creative and tasty snacks using a variety of cheeses. It's a hands-on experience filled with learning and laughter, perfect for children and their grown-ups to enjoy together.
In partnership with Summit Dairy, the class will include:
Learning session: Led by Jen from Summit Dairy, she will kick things off with an exciting session on milk and curds—the foundation of cheese! Kids will even experience a milk flight, tasting different types and flavours.
Activity: Make Your Own Butter! Using Summit Dairy Whole Cream, kids will learn how butter is made. They'll participate by shaking their own butter while one of Denninger's associates finishes it so that they can taste the final product by the end of class!
Tasting Menu: Each child will get to taste and create fun, cheese-inspired dishes

Summit Station Dairy, operated by the Loewith family in Hamilton, Ontario, has been a cornerstone of dairy farming since 1947. Founded by Joe Loewith, the farm began with 15 Holstein cows and has expanded to milking 450 cows, all descendants of the original herd. The farm's name pays homage to the historic "Summit" station of the Toronto, Hamilton, and Buffalo railway, once the highest point between Brantford and Hamilton. Today, Summit Station Dairy continues its legacy by offering fresh, farm-produced dairy products directly to the local community.
